Virtual Scientific Conference - Thur 03 June
Bringing together researchers for the future of CdLS
On Thursday June 3rd, Hope for Hasti and The Jackson Laboratory will be jointly delivering the inaugural CdLS Hope for Hasti Scientific Conference.
The aim of the conference is to bring together individuals and groups conducting gene therapy and CdLS research, to present their work, share ideas and look at the next steps for novel treatment options for CdLS and generate new ideas for how we can help improve the lives of those living with the condition.
The conference will be delivered virtually allowing us to draw in expertise from across the globe.
What will be covered?
The conference is made up of separate segments that run for the full day and include no less than 15 speakers with expertise in CdLS and experimental research. The topics covered will include, the beneficial effects of Lithium in experimental models, new drug clinical trials for children with neurological diseases and an update on the CdLS HDAC8 gene therapy project. Can families attend?
Yes. Those with family members with CdLS are welcome to attend and there will be panel sessions during which you can ask the experts any questions you may have. Attendance at the workshop will be free as we want to give all CdLS families the opportunity to gain an insight into current and future CdLS research that may one day help their little CdLS warriors.
Researchers with an interest in CdLS are also welcome to attend.
