As the gene therapy project moves ever closer to its conclusion, CdLS Hope for Hasti and The Jackson Laboratory will be running a joint, virtual scientific conference. The conference which will take place on Thursday 3rd June, includes speakers from the clinical, scientific and patient communities creating an invaluable opportunity to share their knowledge and experiences of CdLS.

Speakers include such esteemed researchers as Dr Steven Gray of UT Southwestern who has pioneered gene therapy treatments for various neurological diseases, and Dr Matthew Deardorff of the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles who is credited with the discovery of one of the gene mutations (HDAC8) responsible for causing CdLS.
