What's it all about?
The two point six challenge has been put together in an effort to save UK charities that have lost a predicted £4 billion as a result of COVID-19. The challenge will start on Sunday April 26th, the day the London Marathon should have taken place. The idea is that as many people as possible get involved with a personal challenge around the numbers 2.6 or 26. We would love if you could take part and help us to raise funds for Hope for Hasti.
how can you get involved?
There are a host of activities – from walking, running or cycling 2.6 miles, juggling for 2.6 minutes, 26 times flipping pancakes, holding online workouts with 26 friends and more besides. The ideas and options are endless! So everyone can be part of it.
To get started there are just 4 simple steps to take:
1. Dream up your own 2.6 challenge – if you need help there are lots of ideas here
2. Head to www.gofundme.com/f/hope-for-hasti to donate £26 – or whatever you can afford – or to set up your own fundraising page to raise funds for Hasti.
3. Ask your friends and family who don’t know about us to sponsor you and challenge them to do their own 2.6 Challenge. The challenge can be as simple as making a £26 donation to #HopeForHasti.
4. If you like, share a photo or video of your challenge on social media using #HopeforHasti and #TwoPointSixChallenge.
We would love if you could share your challenge with us and with the world. Make a video or take a photo of your challenge and post it on your favourite social media platforms and don't forget to use #HopeforHasti and #TwoPointSixChallenge.
